A New Crew in Town

I was recently told about a music video on the Sci-fi site that is, dare I say, frakkin' awesome.

Link here: http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/video/index.php?cat=features&vid=35344

Check it out, it's even more worth it than the webisodes.

Nearly snarfed mountain dew on my keyboard with the line about Six's "twins." Very clever...

...but I am sure that the crew over at Colonial Fleets will petition the UN Security Council to impose sanctions on the SciFi Channel in response.

well i thought it was good. The amanda plummer character was really cool.... all the wicker/witchcraft sort of strings wrapped around things... and seeing visions of a cylon character? Guess she isn't a model since Xena didn't recognize her. And the prophecy... she will hold the child in her arms but it will bring down everything they've done here? Cool stuff.... but with adama on the way... doesn't that mean she needs to hold the child by this friday?

Also liked the flashbacks showing the same scenes from different perspectives. Though having Cally run straight into chief... and then they all mow down bad guys like cavalry... I was bothered watching her run right into full view of the chief...like okay lets get this resolved and get moving. Last time we saw her she was running through a ravine through the trees. Now she's climbing a hill in broad site of everyone. Little too easy... and maybe incongruous, but it's a minor thing I guess.

Overall a good show.

Missed Exodus pt 2 on Friday (still can't manage to set my VHS VCR to record the time slot I want... grrrrr). So exhausted and bleary-eyed I stayed up and watched the repeat on SciFi last nite. I can only say one thing... DAMN!!

A new battle tactic has been born... move over Corbomite... take a back seat Picard... the Adama Maneuver is the new sheriff in town! The hair is still standing up on the back of my neck!!

Tigh... Helen... OH SNAP!

Did anyone else rise to their feet when the camera pulls back to show the horribly embattled Galactica surrounded by four BaseStars... and you see one single missile!!... then camera pans to the Pegasus with all batteries firing!!!! OMG!

I have never wanted HDTV and a nice 50" plasma as bad as I wanted it last nite. This was an eppy worthy of even the big screen! In fact, I daresay that Exodus pt 2 deserves a place in the top 5... just below the USS Reliant/NCC-1701 match-up in the Mutara Nebula.

Mr. Moore- :deep bow, hands aloft: We are not worthy!

One thing though... apparently Loeben does lie.

ya know... I've been trying to figure that Leobon thing out. I didn't believe his original story... but was assuming there was some truth in it. Like it was really Kara's but not his. But it does appear that story line has been completed with Leobon lying and Kara now suddenly, I'm guessing, desperately wanting a child. Hmmmm..... which would play into what the cylons originally seemed to want from her back onCaprica last season. So was the whole thing not just Leobon's creepy attempt at experiencing love, but also advancing some cylon plan to get Kara to have a child.? Is that why cylons have called Kara special? Because of the child she will have.

I'm assuming the child wouldn't be John Conner-Thrace... the baby prophecied to grow up and smash the robots!
