Cally
Several people across the Galactica-blog-and-forum world have brought up this one--is Cally a Cylon? I have finally succumbed to dicussing this (but only after she was absent from 3-4 episodes).
Leoben does not lie. Adama is a Cylon.

I don't see any way she is. Other than a general feeling she has too many human failings (no Pinocchio here) to be a Cylon, I don't see any characteristic interest in procreation that we see with Cylons. I also have not seen any of those great hints.
While Six and Sharon are intereseted in baby-making, we haven't seen the same obsession in Doral, Xena or Leobon. Doc Simon is a wash, since his character worked in a fertility farm, but showed no personal interest. So, procreation obsession is not necessarily universal.
Cally is in a unique position in the flight hanger to engage in sabotage, and we have seen certain examples of unexplained malfunctions and dsiasters. (Act of Contrition)
Cally was unable to attack the Cylons on Kobol.
Cally shot Sharon, who was on her way to be studied and examined.
Just sayin...
I agree that the reproduction obsession is not universal.
As far as being unable to attack the Cylons on Kobol: she killed Boomer. She has the capactiy to kill Cylons. She just needed the right motivation. Her story plays into this well: "I wanted to pay for dental school." Plus, she is infatuated with the Chief on different levels (deep, obsessive respect for superior, perhaps some romantic intentions).
I think she's a Cylon. She does freak out in . . . some episode in the second season, I believe, and it could be programming interfering with her work. She's a smart kid, wouldn't be going to dental school if she wasn't. Why does she have such a hard time sometimes when she operates equipment?
When Chief freaks out and beats up Cally, and Brother Cavil councils him that he suspects he's a cylon, perhaps in his dream state he identified her.
If Cally does turn out to be a cylon, than poor Chief as the deck mechanic loves machines too much!
If Cally is a Cylon, it would explain the goof in which she's seen escaping in one direction in one episode, and then in a totally different direction the next. Also would explain why she took so much time to remember Jammer helping her escape.
